Pet Care Services
Ace Pet Watchers watches over dogs, cats, birds, fish, rabbits, ferrets, gerbils, hamsters, guinea pigs, chinchilla's and other small furry friends.
Pet Sitting Services
Our pet sitting service is great for pet owners who find their going away on business trips, weekend get aways, or taking that long awaited vacation, and who are looking for an alternative to boarding their beloved pets. Ace Pet Watchers can visit your pets through out the day or we can stay overnight with your pets.

Mid-Day Dog Walks
Mid-day dog walks are great for the busy professionals who can't make it home in the middle of the day to take out their beloved pets for that needed break, which will help relieve stress, built up extra energy and the extra exercise will keep your pets healthy. Ace Pet Watchers mid day dog walks are provided between 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. This service includes walking your pets, playtime, giving fresh food and water, and bringing in the mail/newspaper. Clients who book mid day dog walks Monday thru Friday on a regular basis receive a 10% discount.
House Sitting Service
Ace Pet Watchers can visit your home once a day or we can stay overnight while your away. Mail and newspaper will be collected, trash taken to curb and brought back, plants watered, lights adjusted, and an overall check of the house to make sure heat / ac is working properly, no water breaks, and to make sure nothing has been disturbed while your away.
Pet Taxi Service
Our pet taxi service is great for the busy professional or senior citizen who might need a little extra help getting their pets to and from their vets or groomers appointments.
Pet Product Purchases
Ace Pet Watchers will shop and deliver your pet products directly to your home. This saves you time, and allows you to spend more time with your loved ones.
Last Minute Drop In Service
Clients who keep a key with Ace Pet Watchers can call when they are working late, get stuck in traffic, or just can't make it home in time to take their pets out for that needed potty break. Just call and we will see what we can do to fit you in.
Policies
Interview and Consultation - Free
Ace Pet Watchers requires an initial interview before we can book a service. This visit is free of charge. At this visit we meet your pets and get the information needed to care for your pets and your home. We will be able to answer any questions or concerns you may have at the time. We will go over the policies and procedures, complete the paper work, sign the contract, and pick up keys to your home.
Reservations
All reservations need to be set up and confirmed by speaking to owner Deborah Cormier. When calling Ace Pet Watchers if you leave a message on voice mail please don't leave town without speaking to the owner Deborah Cormier. During the year there are times that business is very busy so please book your reservations ASAP to ensure availability.
Extended Vacation Stays
If you are unable to get home on your scheduled arrival date due to plane delays, car problems, bad weather, or you just want to stay later please just call Ace Pet Watchers and we will schedule your pets for a longer period of time.
Medications
Ace Pet Watchers will give your pets oral or topical medications or vitamins upon the request of the client. Ace Pet Watchers does not charge a fee for giving medications or vitamin supplements.
Sick or Injured Pets
If your pets become sick or injured while your away Ace Pet Watchers will take your pets to your veterinarian during regular office hours. If your pets become sick, or injured when their veterinarian office is closed, Ace Pet Watchers will take your pets to the Emergency Veterinary Care facility at 4902 Frontage Rd. N.W. Roanoke. All fees incurred are to be paid by the pet owner, unless Ace Pet Watchers is at fault. Ace Pet Watchers asks all clients to contact their veterinarian before going out of town to let them know Ace Pet Watchers will be caring for their pets and to make arrangement for payment if their pet should need veterinarian care while their away.
Bad Weather
Ace Pet Watchers operates 365 days of the year and during that time bad weather from winter storms, hurricanes, flooding, or lighting storms will occur. Ace Pet Watchers may move pet sitting visits earlier than scheduled for the day if bad weather is predicted so that we can get all pets taken care of. If a client stays home due to bad weather we don't charge for the cancelation, but we do ask that you call so we don't make a trip out to your home, if we do arrive and your home you will be charged the regular sitting fee so please call to cancel.
Holidays Observed
Ace Pet Watchers provides services on the following holidays, but charges an additional $5.00 fee on New Years Eve/Day, Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve/Day. Due to the high volume of bookings during the holidays 10 and 20 minute visits are only offered, please book ASAP.
Client/Sitter Communication
Clients may call or text my cell phone between the hours of 6 a.m. and 9 p.m. to check on their pets. If you get my voice mail please leave a message and I will return your call or text ASAP.
Payment Policy
Ace Pet Watchers requires that the full amount be paid the first day of service. If pet sitting visits are extended payment can be mailed or taken care of when the client returns home. If payment is not left a late fee is charged. Payments can be left in forms of cash or personal checks. Checks should be made out to Ace Pet Watchers or Deborah Cormier.
Referral Bonus
When a client refers a friend to Ace Pet Watchers the client receives a free day if that friend signs a contract with Ace Pet Watchers. The new client will receive a 10% discount on their first service contract with Ace Pet Watchers.
Clients Return
Ace Pet Watchers asks that their clients please call to let us know that they have arrived home and that their pets are being taken care of. Clients who return home after hours please leave a voice mail so we know all is well and that your pets are being cared for.
